- Phi Brows Microblading, World renowned brand and Rolls-Royce of the Microblading world
- Phibrows Microblading is a manual "hand" method of doing Semi permanent makeup on your eyebrows. It is a beautiful, very natural looking treatment as this type of microblading slowly introduces hair line strokes into your eyebrows. Therefore, this treatment is ideal for those with sparse, uneven or thin eyebrows.
- The procedure:
- The eyebrows will be mapped out using the Phi app to achieve near perfect symmetry. The Brows are measured perfectly to complement your unique face shape and size. Once the shape has been drawn, you will have the opportunity to have a look at the shape and make sure you are happy to go ahead. Then your artist will help you choose the pigment colour best suitable for you. The pigment is applied with a specific PhiBrows tool to create the natural looking hair like strokes.
- Generally, the results are excellent. However, a perfect result is not a realistic expectation after the first treatment. It is usual to expect a touch up after the healing is complete, usually 4-6 weeks after the initial treatment. During your touch up, the artist will fill in missing hairs, add or make hairs longer or as is necessary.

- Frequently asked questions:
- Does microblading hurt?
- On a pain scale of 1 to 10 where 10 is the most pain experienced, most people say it’s a 2 or 3 on the scale. The service can be a little uncomfortable for those who are more sensitive. However, we do use a numbing cream during the treatment to keep the discomfort to a minimum.
- Do my eyebrows need to be shaven off?
- No, your eyebrow hair will not be shaved off, but you may need some tweezing
- Will I scar?
- Scaring can occur if the aftercare treatment isn’t followed correctly. However, if you have a history of Keloid scarring or Hypertrophic scarring, then microblading is not recommended due to the risk of these scars occurring.
- How long does the procedure take?
- For the first Microblading session can take two to three hours. You will then need to book in for a follow up visit 4-6 weeks after for minor necessary touch ups. This second session will take approximately 1 hour to 1 and half hours to complete.
- How long does it take to heal?
- It takes approximately 7-14 days for the brows to heal over, and about 1 month to fully heal. The pigment will fade by up to 40% during the healing process. In the following days, you may notice slight scabbing. Please do not pick at the scabs as this may damage the skin and the final result. The eyebrows will lighten up in colour as it heals.
- How long does it last?
- Microblading is a semi permeant treatment that should last between 12 to 18 months. The results can vary depending on the client’s skins type, skincare routine, individual's pigment retention and following of aftercare during the healing period.

If you have recently had any of the following beauty treatment listed below, please consider the time guidelines mentioned before booking in your Microblading:
Dermal fillers:
• Do not drink coffee, alcohol or energizing drinks 24 hours prior to treatment.
• Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or Ibuprofen 24 hours prior to treatment.
• Do not take omega3 (fish oil) 1 week prior to treatment.
• Do not tan or have intense sun exposure 3 days prior to treatment.
• No waxing 2-3 days prior to treatment.
• No chemical peels, dermabrasion, laser or any other intense treatments 2 weeks prior to treatment.
After-procedure care:
The aftercare is especially important for this treatments, as it directly affects the final results. However, all information regarding the aftercare will be provided.
Make sure to avoid ALL of the following after microblading:
• Sweating, swimming, hot sauna, hot bath or jacuzzi, sun tanning or salon tanning.
• Any laser or chemical treatments or peelings or any product containing Retin-A or Glycol Acid on the face or neck.
• Picking, peeling or scratching of the Micro bladed area in order to avoid scarring of the area or removal of the pigment.
• Performing tasks related to heavy household cleaning such as garage or basement cleaning where there is a lot of airborne debris.
• Drinking alcohol in excess as it may lead to slow healing of wounds.
• Touching of the eyebrow area except for when rinsing and applying the post-care cream with a cotton swab.
• Before showering apply a layer of Skin Candy ointment to protect your eyebrows from moisture. During the shower keep your face away from the shower head.
Itching and flaking may appear during the first seven days post microblading procedure. However, my experience has shown that this is normal and by following these aftercare instructions these symptoms may quickly disappear.
• Once completely healed, always apply a layer of sunscreen SPF 30 on your eyebrows when exposed to the sun, as the sun exposure might cause the colour pigment to fade away more quickly.
The Microblading healing process:
Your new eyebrows will go through several phases during the healing cycle. The true reflection of healed colour can only be assessed 3-4 weeks after the initial treatment.
Immediately after the procedure, the pigment will appear very sharp and dark. Please note the pigment will fade 30 to 40% during the healing process.
The colour of the pigment will soften gradually (do not be alarmed if you see some pigment on the cotton swab as this is excess pigment and/or body fluid that is naturally exiting your skin).
Once the healing of the skin starts taking place it may look like dandruff flakes or dry skin. This might give you the impression that the colour pigment is fading too quickly. However, this is just superficial colour and dry skin being naturally removed from your eyebrows.
Your eyebrows will be the lightest tones during days 5-12 because the colour is absorbed in the deeper layers of the skin.
Touch-ups and/or correction of the shape/design is recommended 4 to 6 weeks after initial treatment.
The pigment will go from too dark, to too light, to just right!
Later skin cells push it back to the upper layers. Once the healing is completed, you will enjoy a pair of beautiful, new, natural looking eyebrows.
